The argument from evil claims that the existence, amount, type, or distribution of evil in the world is evidence against the existence of God. Focusing solely on the subset of arguments from evil that cite the amount of evil as evidence, how much evil is too much? I propose and evaluate a number of answers to this question in light of contemporary strategies by theodicists and skeptical theists.
